Indies to Catch in May 2026!
Sweet May is upon us, at last. The times passes swiftly – already first third of the year is behind us, and it feels I barely did anything at all! At least the summer vibes should start soon, which I very much need to function. Anyway, new month means new games to look forward to! April was robust in excellent titles to enjoy, and May is shaping up to be equally full of interesting games to dabble with. As always, there are way too many to list and give them proper justice. T

FEATURED:

MIXTAPE
I too, once, was a teenager. An awkward one, a nerdy one. With wizards living in my brain, casting spells and tantalizing my impressionable, young mind with visions of a greater future. And like any modestly-sized outcast, who never had a chance to be with the Cool Kids on the block, I had my two escapes – my dorky friends forming a strangely cultish clique. And music. Good old music, which, of course, could not be any of the mainline stuff. No pop and radio rock for me! Beca

AGRIVORE
One of my not-so-secret guilty pleasures is idle games. Especially when they are married in a shed to a clicker, making for an extremely simple formula that somehow works on my primitive brain, jabbing some bits in the grey matter to make it sizzle in a pleasant way. I know that some could hardly even be granted the title of a game. I know it is exploiting some of the most baseline desires, but I can’t help it. If it’s all nicely wrapped up and makes me feel like my actions h

TERRATECH LEGION
Bullet Heavens might be one of the most oversaturated subgenres out there. It’s nobody’s fault… If you don’t gaze too hard at the meteoric success of VAMPIRE SURVIVOR, that is. See, I get the appeal, and from both ends of the spectrum. Players like this formula. Numbers going up will never cease to tickle some neurons in many people brains. And I can see the appeal from the development standpoint, because technically speaking, those are rather simple games. You don’t have to

WILD CITY
I should rename the blog from TINY GAMING to TINY ROGUELIKES or better yet, TINY DECK BUILDERS. What can I say… I am a sucker for that genre. It might be due to my nerdy upbringing. I was a Magic: The Gathering player for half my life, dabbled in plenty of eurogames on the table and in general just enjoy a thrill of assembling my little engine that could. There is simple bliss in the mental exercise of seeing a number go up. And while there are many ways to make a game dedica

DEMO DIVE #1 - May 2026
What a beautiful start of May! Bees are bumbling around. Sun finally remembered to blast some blessed heat. Day is long and juicy. And so many demos dropped recently that I can barely pick what to play and try between pushing more hours into some excellent titles I acquired recently! But of course, I could not skip on a traditional Sunday post, sharing some impressions from the demos that stuck with me, and so, here we are. A rather eclectic mix today, a small variety selecti
